Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro: Specifications Revealed Ahead Of Launch

Huawei Mate 10 Pro with Leica-branded dual cameras leaked again

The Huawei Mate 10 will definitely be announced, and the same can be said for the Huawei Mate 10 Pro which has been leaking for quite some time now.

A leaked image posted on the Chinese social networking site Weibo shows the Mate 10 sporting a 6.2-inch display with a 2160 x 1080-pixel resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Apart from that, the Huawei Mate 10 will also have a dual camera setup with a 20Mp and 23Mp "Leica" camera sensors at the rear.

The Mate 10 Pro comes with the Kirin 970 processing unit, which is an octa core processor clocked at 2800 MHz, utilizing Cortex A73 and A53 cores.

We can expect the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 pro to come at a very affordable price and with features similar to Note 8, the smartphones can give a tough competition to the South Korean smartphone giant. The phone is likely to carry a price-tag around $650. The Kirin 960 proved to be a formidable rival to the Snapdragon 821 and Exynos 8890 chipsets past year, so we are hoping that the Kirin 970 too will leave us all highly impressed with its benchmark performance. The only official information we have regarding the Huawei Mate 10 is that the company will fully unveil its forthcoming flagship on October 16. If you own the same phone i.e. Huawei Mate 9 and wish to test out this new Oreo update, you have to download the Beta Friendly User Test app from the official Huawei's website. This may mean a bezel-less display for the Huawei flagship. The smartphone will be powered by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery, with support for fast charing.

There will be two versions of the device, the first one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and a second, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

As the launch of Huawei's Mate 10 series of smartphones is drawing near, more leaks related to its devices are surfacing online. A photo of the Mate 10 Pro was uploaded a week ago, showing off an interesting design and glass back.
