Our first credible teaser of what the Note 9 might feature comes to us from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who predicts that Samsung's next flagship phablet will pack an in-display fingerprint scanner when it launches in the second-half of 2018.

Quite likely true, but one thing which was asserted along the way which might not be so certain, according to these new details, is that this shift may mean manufacturers stop trying to get fingerprint scanners functioning beneath display glass.

The Samsung LSI owned by a Samsung group has already shipped a few sample components for the sensor of in-screen fingerprint to the Samsung Electronics.

The technology itself supposedly relies on an OLED panel not just to protect the sensor while simultaneously allowing its usage but also by supporting it by serving as a light source. Jeff's past Android devices include an HTC EVO, a Samsung Note II, and an LG G3, and a Motorola Moto X Pure Edition along with a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1. We even mentioned that Samsung will be applying the technology definitely on the Note 9 but not on the Galaxy S9 yet.

The latest Apple's phone iPhone X has reportedly dropped out from this new feature due to production issues and the deadline has approached.

However, in this article, we have some valuable information for you, as we all know new A-series devices will be better than ever this time Samsung will add premium features to it which will also increase the price of the devices.

A couple of days back, Galaxy Note 9 rumors says that the S Pen stylus for Note 9, has a breathalyzer built-in along with the microphone. Synaptics, which is an Apple supplier, isn't in the race.

What's more interesting is that it will apparently take Samsung quite some time to ideal it, since there is no mention of this technology being attempted for the Galaxy S9.
